A private school is looking for a native English teacher.
A private high school located in Taoyuan County is seeking an additional full-time (8AM-5PM, Mon.-Fri.), qualified, certified, and experienced instructor to teach conversational English classes. A teacher¡¦s certificate issued either by the federal government or by the local government is required. The beautifully situated campus is located only 40km from the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (approx. 30 min. by car). It offers a competitive salary based on the government standard, high monthly bonuses, and national standard health insurance. Teachers also have weekends off (with the exception of two or three Saturday English camps held during the school year), all national holidays off, a two-week paid winter vacation during the Chinese New Year either in late January or in early February, and a one-month unpaid summer vacation in July. Salaries range from 66,000 NT to 94000 NT per month (current exchange rate is approximately 1 USD equals 30 NTD) depending on educational background, experience, and performance. If the teacher has a bachelor¡¦s degree with one year of teaching experience, then he or she will get at least 67,000 NT per month and an additional 2000 NT per month after his or her second year. If the teacher has a master¡¦s degree with one year of experience, then he or she will get at least 74000 NT per month. As apartments in the area generally cost around 10,000 NT per month, and the cost of food can be as little as 100 NT per meal(35 NT per meal at school), teachers will have plenty of money to save or use at their leisure. The school also provides free dormitory accommodation for the teacher. Please attach a resume accompanied by a recent photograph and send all inquiries to faye.hw@gmail.com. For additional information, you may also contact our current English Conversation teacher, Chris, who has been working at our school for 4 years, at zaharchristopher@yahoo.com. Thank you!
